❄ it's quiet
and the snow's beautiful tonight

snowfall;

stage i; none, streets are already blanketed in white.
stage ii; very light and intermittent.
stage iii; light - moderate. lasts longer periods.
stage iv; continuous, heavy snowfall.
stage v; the hardest of cores - blizzards, snowstorms, you name it.

scenarios;

① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.
② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?
③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.
④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!
⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.
⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.
⑦ mix and match, or make up your own.

holiday cookie meme

It's the holidays and that means cookies! Giving, receiving, finding, distributing, you name it... So let's spread a little sweetness! Here's a few scenarios to get you started:

i. Baking: You've got SO many of these to get done and not enough hands. Maybe someone could help you out?
ii. Giving: Sometimes, people just need a little something to keep them going during the holidays and you're just the person to deliver a little sweetness into their life.
iii. Finding: Someone's left you a whole bundle of holiday treats. Who was it? Why? Let's find out...
iv. Delivery: There's so many things to get done during the holidays but that doesn't mean you won't take the time out to spread a little joy. But maybe you're not the only one. Or maybe you bump into someone you don't expect...
v. Disaster: ...so you TRIED to make some cookies but you have a black baking thumb. Or maybe someone took all that time and effort and something happened to that bundle of immaculate baked treats. Either way, it's all gone wrong.
vi. Allergic: You know, they were really trying, put all that effort in, but now your tongue's starting to feel kind of itchy...
vii. Shopping: You just have to get the right cookies for the holiday, that special treat. But you just can't find THAT cookie, the one that means so much to you, or them. Maybe someone can help you?
viii. Too Many: You ate ALL the cookies, or maybe you just helped yourself to a bit too much of the dough. Now you're feeling kind of ill. Or maybe you were planning on leaving some for others and you didn't realize that the plate was now empty. Shame shame. Will anyone be upset?
ix. Naughty: Those are NOT candy canes. Now, did you do that on purpose or did you just buy the wrong cookie cutters?
x. Nice: You don't usually pull out your baking chops, but someone deserves something special. Maybe it's just coming home to the warmth and sweetness of a house full of baking. Sometimes it's a plateful of treats when they walk through the door. But this is just for them.
xi. Magical: Okay, you didn't eat the cookies. I didn't eat the cookies. *glance at the chimney* Well...
